A Terraced Garden Portslade

The Brief –  To convert a traditional town garden into an attractive series of flat, usable levels. With seating areas, space for grandchildren to play and easily accessible planting beds.
 

The Result – We extended the lower patio, retaining the garden with a traditional brick wall. The middle section was levelled off with an oval lawn surrounded by planting beds and, at the top, a secluded seating area with a pergola was constructed. The garden is all tied together with a curving path linking the separate levels.
